About Our Work

Our ministry centers around helping the immigrant community to live better, more productive lives in the United States as they embrace their God-given potential. Specifically, that is done by offering low-cost immigration legal services, and through holistic services that address mental health, provide pastoral care, and assist with physical needs.

We also serve as advocates and consultants to the non-Latino community to help educate others about language and cultural issues, cultural values, and other areas that lead to a better understanding of this population – and to greater acceptance and inclusion in the larger community.

Our ministry initiatives are largely connected to LUCHA Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which we helped found in 2004. Through the years, our primary commitment has always been to the Spanish-speaking Latino immigrant community, and we have continued to evolve and address the changing dynamics of ministry to an ever-changing population.
